Sunken mussel farm

Old mussel-farm structures turned into a home for marine life

The sunken mussel farm lies on the seabed between Gonio and Kvariati, south of Batumi on the Georgian Black Sea coast. What was once a working farm is now a set of old structures that marine life has colonised, a shallow boat dive that suits newly certified divers.

Also known as Gonio Sunken Mussel Farm.
