Your data on Reefwander
Reefwander has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no analytics scripts. This page explains the three things that do touch your data: your browser's local storage, the hosting provider, and advertising.

Stored in your browser
Your shortlist and map-layer settings are kept in your browser's local storage so they survive a reload. They never leave your device and are not sent to Reefwander. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes connection data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Advertising
Reefwander shows ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of other third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Embedded videos
Dive videos are shown as a thumbnail image fetched from YouTube's image servers; the player itself only loads when you press play. Once you do, YouTube may set its own cookies under the Google privacy policy.
