Kokomo Beach sits on Vaersenbaai on Curaçao's southwestern shore. It is an easy-entry shore dive in calm water with shallow coral gardens, deeper reef formations and, to the east of the house reef, a sunken pontoon barge and car wrecks.
Also known as Vaersenbaai (Kokomo), Vaersenbaai, Kokomo.

The dive
Divers enter at the buoyed points and reach shallow coral gardens first, then deeper reef formations that continue from about 10 m (30 ft) down to 36 m (120 ft). Parrotfish, angelfish and schools of reef fish fill the reef, and turtles, rays and the odd nurse shark pass through. Visibility often exceeds 30 m (100 ft). East of the Kokomo house reef lie the sunken pontoon barge and the car wrecks.
