The dive
The dive starts over a flat seagrass meadow, which on a coast of open sand is already a change of bottom. Past the meadow the ground tips into a sandy slope scattered with coral blocks and with the large artificial elements the site was built around: structures of metal and concrete, placed rather than grown, and the reason a site created in 2019 is already named among the better ones on this stretch of Negros.
Heading south the slope fades into coral reef, so the dive moves from placed structure to living reef without a break in between. Another reef starts at 25 metres for anyone with the depth allowance to go and look at it, but the built part of the site, the seagrass and the blocks and the metal and concrete, is the shallow part, and that is where most of a dive here is spent.
Background
Blue House is a made site rather than a found one. Scubago's catalogue records it as Sea Dream Resort's house reef, built in 2019 and now one of the top dive sites on the coast: a flat seagrass meadow and a sandy slope carrying coral blocks and large artificial elements of metal and concrete, fading south into a coral reef with another reef beginning at 25 metres. That is a short history for a site already listed among the coast's best.
