La Chaise
Two platforms, 15 m and 30 m, on one rope

An open-water site south of Malendure, dived by descending a mooring rope. The ground begins to take shape around 12 m and extends to 30 m across two platforms: one in the 15 m zone that suits Open Water divers, the other running down to 30 m for deep-specialty holders. The site is too extensive to cover in a single dive.

The dive
The site sits in open water with no landmark above it, so the dive begins by following the mooring rope down. The ground starts to draw at around 12 m and runs out to 30 m, and what you get depends on which of the two platforms the guide takes you to; they are separated by about 30 metres, so it is one or the other rather than both.
The shallower platform sits in the 15 m zone and is the one for Open Water divers; the deeper one goes to 30 m and is for divers holding a Deep Diving specialty or wanting to pass it. Between and beyond them the bottom is a succession of rocky patates, and the site extends far enough to the south and west that it cannot be done in one go.
