Naklova glava is the most popular dive site on Lake Bohinj, chosen above all for its very easy shore entry. From the entry divers can head left over algae with fish or right to a wall that drops past 30 m.

The dive
At least two dives are possible here, one to each side. Turning left, the route follows a stretch of algae with fish along it. Turning right, it reaches a wall, where the depth comes up fast: divers are at 30 m (100 ft) within moments, and the site's deepest point is 35 m.

Season follows Lake Bled & Lake Bohinj: The Bled beach centre runs June to October and no month stands out as best; July and August bring the warmest water, and Lake Bled can freeze in winter.
Know before you go
- On the right-hand side the wall gets to 30 m (100 ft) or more very quickly, so depth needs watching from the start.
