Geronisos Island
A dark, twisting 30 m long swim-through between two ridges

Geronisos Island is the more adventurous of the Paphos boat dives, built from three rocky ridges covered in pink calcareous algae. The dive drops onto the shallowest ridge and threads a long, dark swim-through that twists through the rock before emerging deeper down, which is why confident divers seek it out.
Also known as Geronisos, Yeronisos.
Where it is and how deep
34.9000° N, 32.3100° EApproximate position — the dashed circle shows where the site lies; your operator's briefing has the mooring.
The dive
Divers drop onto a ridge at 12 m, where the entrance to a large swim-through hides between the rocks. Inside it is dark, the walls open up and the passage twists and turns for 30 m before it exits at 18 m. The site has three ridges in all, at 12, 18 and 35 m, so the deepest one lies well below the route of the typical dive.
