An easy reef slope and mini wall, also dived from Krabi

A quiet reef site off Phi Phi Don, dived mostly by local operators and by boats coming across from Krabi. The bottom is a mix of reef slope and rocky floor with one short wall section, and depths run to around 20–25 m. Mild currents and generally good visibility make it one of the easier dives in the group.

The dive
Divers drop straight onto the reef slope, which is the whole shape of the dive. Follow it down over rock and reef to the deepest part at around 20–25 m, then turn and work back up. The site is used by local operators and by some Krabi dive centres, and with currents typically mild there is little to fight on the way out or on the way back.
The one piece of structure is the mini wall, a short vertical step in the slope that gives the dive a focal point on the way back. Above it the rocky floor shallows out gradually, so the ascent and safety stop happen over reef rather than open blue. Visibility here is generally good and currents are typically mild, which is what makes the site suitable for divers of all levels.

Season follows Phi Phi & the King Cruiser: Nov–Apr is the dry season with the calmest, clearest water; the south-west monsoon from May to October brings swell and rain.
