Areu Wall is a wall dive on Pohnpei's east side with a depth range from 2 m to 34 m, best at 6 to 18 m on an incoming tide. Sea fans and sea whips grow on the wall, and white-tip reef sharks and barracuda are found here.

The dive
The wall is best at 6 to 18 m on an incoming tide, with sea fans at 18 to 24 m and sea whips along the face. White-tip reef sharks and barracuda are found here, and the wall continues down to 34 m below the shallower part of the dive.

Season follows Pohnpei: Diving runs year-round; the relatively drier Dec-Apr months give the clearest water, while near-constant rain the rest of the year can reduce inshore visibility.
