A sunken platform lying at 22 m
Bate Estaca is the wreck of a platform lying at 22 m, about 7 miles off the coast near Porto Seguro, deeper than any of the area's reef sites. It is one of several wrecks in the region, named alongside the Castor and the Cabrália 27.

The dive
Bate Estaca is a platform that now lies on the bottom at 22 m, about 7 miles off the coast. It is one of several wrecks in the region alongside the Castor and the Cabrália 27, and at 22 m it is deeper than the reef sites of the area, which rarely pass 10 m, and beyond the 18 m limit of an entry-level certification.
