Djeu Sul is a dive on the protected side of Djeu, a big rock off São Vicente. The rock shelters the site, so the current is normally small, and the dive is usually busy with life. Divers come to watch for big pelagics and to look for huge java moray eels, lobsters and frogfish of several species.

The dive
The big rock breaks the current here, so the water at Djeu Sul normally moves only a little while the dive goes as deep as 30 m. Between glances into the blue for big pelagics, the search on the rock is for the huge java moray eels, the lobsters and the several species of frogfish that live there.
