White Grass House Reef is the fringing reef in front of White Grass Ocean Resort, dived straight off the resort jetty. Its topography of swim-throughs, tunnels and grottos is the attraction, along with coral formations and the turtles and reef sharks that patrol them.
Also known as House Reef.

The dive
A long jetty crosses the shallowest part of the fringing reef, and divers enter from its end into a blue hole. A narrow swim-through in the far-right corner winds out to the reef wall, which falls to about 25 m; dives here reach a maximum of 20 m.
Along the wall the reef is cut by swim-throughs, tunnels and grottos between coral formations. Turtles, moray eels, reef sharks and blue-spotted rays are seen here, and a dugong turns up on occasion.
