Blacks Point
A resident great barracuda patrolling coral-covered boulders
Blacks Point is a shallow reef of huge coral-covered boulders at the windward tip of Falmouth Harbour, the closest site to the harbour's dive base. Its depth suits first-time divers and snorkellers as well as experienced divers.
Also known as Black's Point.

The dive
The reef extends about 30 m (100 ft) off the shore and is made up of huge coral-covered boulders between 3 and 9 m (10 and 30 ft). Spotted eagle rays glide past on the deeper side of the boulders, southern stingrays hide in the sandy bottom, and around this part of the site the resident great barracuda normally makes an appearance.
