
Yellowtail is a reef site only 5 minutes by boat from the dive shop on Little Corn Island, laid out as a maze of sandy channels between coral reef. A couple of small archways break up the route, and the whole site lies within 18 m (60 ft).

The dive
The dive threads through sandy channels that wind between sections of coral reef, to a maximum of 18 m (60 ft), passing a couple of small archways in the coral. Nurse sharks, eagle rays, sting rays, barracuda and jacks are seen here, along with triggerfish, drumfish, colourful grunts and lobster.

Season follows Little Corn Island & the Corn Islands: Blowing Rock and the east-side sites need calm seas, which come in April and May and from mid August to mid October.
