The dive
SS Themis, an 82 m (270 ft) freighter, lies half in a kelp forest and half on the reef, so the dive moves between the two. The wreck is broken up, with depths running from 8 m (25 ft) at the shallow end to about 24 m (80 ft) at the deepest. Boats take divers out and pick them up near slack water, as at most sites in the pass.

Season follows British Columbia: Most operators run June through September for reliable weather and access; water is famously clearer in winter but few trips run then, and conditions turn harsh.
