The dive

All that is fixed for this site is a depth range rather than a route: ground running from 10 metres down to 30, on the Chiappa cape near Porto-Vecchio. Plan around that band. The 10 metre end gives an easy shallow stretch to finish on, and 30 metres is a floor to touch rather than a depth to work, so the shape of the dive comes down to which half of the range your certification and your gas plan cover.

The entry calls the site suitable for divers of all levels, and that holds for the shallow half; the deep end is past what a freshly certified Open Water diver should be planning, so agree a target depth on the boat rather than discovering it in the water. Nothing else about the site is published — no current, visibility or marine-life figures, and no description of the terrain — which makes the operator's briefing on the day the authority on how it is actually run.
