Rocher de la Vacca (Nord)
A protected islet dived end to end, 3 to 25 metres
Area photo: Reustli · CC BY-SA 4.0
An uninhabited, vegetation-free islet in the Cerbicale islands reserve, off Corsica's south-east coast. Diving runs along the length of the rock between 3 and 25 metres, and there is nothing on the islet itself, so it is worked as a boat dive from end to end rather than a mark you drop onto and circle.
Also known as Vacca Rock.

The dive
The directory describes the dive as running along the length of the islet rather than around a single mark, on ground catalogued between 3 and 25 metres. Plan it as a linear profile: the boat sets you at one end of the rock and you work it in one direction, with the depth you hold along the way decided by your certification and your gas rather than by the site.
The rock sits inside the Cerbicale islands reserve, a protected group of islets off this stretch of coast, and it is uninhabited and bare of vegetation: nothing above water to see, and no reason to land. Reserve rules govern what boats and divers may do here, so confirm the terms with the operator when you book. Beyond the depths, the position and the protection status, no current, visibility or marine-life detail is published for this site.
