A 10 m plateau over rock peaks standing off 56 m

La Petite Bretagne is a rocky plateau at 10 to 12 m at the northern end of the gulf's mid-water rock, with rocky peaks below it that rise from a maximum depth of 56 m. The Scubago entry describes rocky passages through it and names grouper, dentex, corb, sar, octopus and large slipper lobster on the site; neither of the gulf's two centres publishes a description of its own.

The dive
The dive is on a rocky plateau at 10 to 12 m, which is where the descent lands and where most of the bottom time is spent. Rocky passages run through it, and the site is described for its architecture — the shapes of the rock rather than a route from one feature to another.
Below the plateau the ground drops away, and the rock peaks on that flank stand up from a maximum depth of 56 m. That is well past recreational limits, so the edge of the plateau is the place to turn rather than to follow the rock down. Grouper, dentex, corb and sar are named on the rock, with octopus and large slipper lobster in the holes.

Season follows Golfe de Valinco: Both centres run April to November and close for the winter; the water is 18 °C at the edges of that season and 23 °C at its height.
