Yin Tsz Ngam holds the wreck of a cargo ship that sank in an accident in the 1960s while carrying packs of cement. The wreck lies between 6 and 14 m, but strong currents sweep the site, so it is a dive for seasoned divers rather than for the newly certified.
Where it is and how deep
22.3879° N, 114.3907° EApproximate position — the dashed circle shows where the site lies; your operator's briefing has the mooring.
The dive
The top of the wreck sits shallow at around 6 m and the bottom lies at around 14 m. The hull is broken in two, and decades of erosion have worn down the ship's body, but the cement bags it carried are still largely intact and have become home to a variety of aquatic life.
