Ann Coleman Wall is a shore dive near Juneau where deep, sheer walls broken by crevasses drop to about 24 m (80 ft). The entry crosses sand shallows and rocks before the wall begins, and the face and its crevasses give good fish and invertebrate encounters for divers used to cold water.

The dive
The entry is a rocky one over sand shallows, made from shore. Beyond the shallows the site turns into deep, sheer walls broken by crevasses, and the dive follows the face of the wall. The crevasses are worth a close look, since the wall gives good fish and invertebrate encounters along its length for divers who move slowly.
The walls go down to about 24 m (80 ft), so divers choose a depth and work along the face rather than dropping straight to the bottom. Water in this area sits in the 4-10 °C range even in summer, which limits how long most divers stay down. The dive ends back over the sand shallows and out across the rocky entry.
