Dutch trawler wreck to potter around under the Big Sovereign

The Nellie is the wreck of a Dutch trawler on the south side of the Big Sovereign, a very short boat spin from Kinsale. Her remains lie at about 15 m and make a relaxed wreck dive to potter around, one that divers of all grades can enjoy.

The dive

The remains of the trawler lie at about 15 m on the south side of the Big Sovereign, and the wreck is a gentle one to potter around. Life is abundant on and around it, including many curious blennies.
