Legon Cabe is the first stop once the boat reaches the Krakatau islands, a dive tucked beside Rakata island. It runs from 6 m (20 ft) down to 18 m (60 ft), the shallow end of the day, before the boat moves on towards Anak Krakatau for the second dive.

Season follows Krakatau & Sangiang Island: No single month stands out; the very windy west monsoon from December to February is the time to avoid, and wind sets the visibility.
