A thila southwest of Le Méridien Maldives with a reef top at 5–8 m descending to around 30 m. The two sides of the mount are different dives: overhangs on the southwest, and a garden of hard corals on the northeast, so a circuit of the reef takes in both.

The dive
Maduvvari Haa lies southwest of Le Méridien Maldives. You descend onto the reef top, which sits at 5–8 m, and then follow the side of the thila down; the reef descends to around 30 m, so the dive depth is planned to the group. The southwest side is the place to start: this is where the overhangs are, and they are worth a light.
From the overhangs, work around the mount to the northeast side, where the character changes to a coral garden made up of hard corals. This more open side suits the second half of the dive as bottom time runs down. Finish on the 5–8 m top for the safety stop before surfacing to the boat.

Season follows Lhaviyani Atoll: Iruvai, the dry northeast monsoon (Dec–Apr), is calm and clear; the wet Hulhangu monsoon (Jun–Nov) can chop the surface but brings mantas to Fushifaru Thila, peaking Oct–Nov.
