Abeshita
Lava arch on the south coast, entered from the beach
Abeshita is a dive on the south coast of Miyakejima built around a lava arch. Entry is from a gravel beach a short walk from the setting-up area, and the maximum depth is 25 m. A current, when it runs, does not interfere with the course.
Also known as 粟辺下, Abe-shita, Abesita.

The dive
Abeshita lies on the south coast of the island, and the lava arch is the main feature of the dive. The entry is from a gravel beach about 5 minutes' walk from the setting-up area, and the maximum depth is 25 m.

Season follows Miyakejima: June to October brings the warmest water, visibility up to 30 m and the two Megane-iwa openings; diving runs all year.
