Toga-hama
Dense table corals and two arches on the Kuroshio side
Toga-hama is a south-west Miyakejima site that takes the Kuroshio, and table corals are so dense that they are visible the moment the mask goes on. Two arches add dynamic terrain, and tropical reef fish follow the coral. It suits intermediate divers and is entered over boulders.
Also known as 富賀浜, Togahama.

The dive
The entry is a beach entry over boulders on the south-west of the island. Table corals are so dense that they come into view from the moment fins and mask are on, and the deepest water reaches 18 m. Two arches give the terrain a dynamic profile. The site is exposed to the Kuroshio, and tropical reef fish are found over the coral.
