The dive
Divers enter from the boat. On the first of the two sites, three reefs sit within 15 m, the part of Koukouras suited to beginner divers. The second site is a stretch of rocks where an old cannon lies at 12 m among many ancient artefacts.
The rocky site also holds a large anchor at 31 m, a deeper goal for advanced divers. Moray eels, octopus, sponges and anemones live among the rocks and the sand patches.
