Keldsnor Lighthouse is a shore dive hidden beneath the lighthouse on the southern tip of Langeland. A pebble beach makes the entry easy, and the best of the dive is a stone reef that starts close to shore and stretches out into the Langelands Belt, with large flatfish in May and cod on night dives.
Also known as Keldsnor Fyr.

The dive
Divers walk in easily from the pebble beach, and the water deepens after only a few metres. The stone reef is the heart of the dive: stones of every size, the larger rocks beautifully overgrown with seaweed, set among seaweed belts and patches of sand and gravel, with the bottom at about 6 m.
In May the gravel patches hold turbot, brill and other flatfish, which grow large here, and summer brings small fish fry. When a current runs, cod wait behind the stones, and swimming against it along the reef gives the best chance of surprising one; cod of 3 to 4 kg are often seen on night dives. The site is best with the wind from the west.
