Mayreau Gardens is an expansive coral reef formation off Mayreau, and one of the major reefs of the Tobago Cays Marine Park. Together with the fringing reefs around Mayreau it is the most biodiverse and healthy reef in the park, and it is among the most popular dives there.
Also known as Mayreau Garden.
Where it is and how deep
12.6397° N, 61.3897° WApproximate position — the dashed circle shows where the site lies; your operator's briefing has the mooring.
The dive
The direction of the dive is set by the current on the day. When it runs north the drift follows the reef at about 17 m (55 ft); when it runs south the drift goes deeper, to about 24 m (80 ft). Either way the dive is a drift over the broad coral formation.
