Mirissa Point is a shallow site off Mirissa with a sandy bottom between 6 and 12 m, used to start beginner courses. The shallow depth lets a dive run past an hour, and the site doubles as an excellent night dive.

The dive
The dive stays between 6 m and 12 m over a sandy bottom, which keeps it simple for students on their first open-water dives and lets a dive last more than an hour. Angelfish, parrotfish, groupers and giant pufferfish can all be seen on the site, and after dark it becomes an excellent night dive.
