Ledenik Wreck

A refrigerated fish carrier resting off the island of Sestrunj

The Ledenik is a 70 m refrigerated cargo ship that carried fish, built in 1962 and sunk in 2008 near the island of Sestrunj, north of Dugi Otok. The hull rests at about 28 m, and the Dugi Otok wreck tour is built around a dive on it.

The dive is a tour of a single 70 m hull: the Ledenik, a refrigerated cargo ship built in 1962 to carry fish, which met its end on 23 October 2008 near Sestrunj. A lamp is required on this dive, and the ship rests at about 28 m.
