Mahal is a mid-depth Al Hoceima site whose bottom sits between 12 m and 26 m, with no shallow section at all. It is a compact profile for divers who are comfortable below 18 m, and the narrow depth range keeps the dive simple to plan on Morocco's Mediterranean coast.

The dive
There is no shallow top to Mahal: the shallowest ground is at 12 m, so the descent goes straight to mid-depth. The bottom then runs down to 26 m. With only 14 m between the top and the bottom of the site, the dive can be planned as a single level band, spending the first part near 26 m and the rest higher up.
