Eillon
An air pocket in the bow big enough to talk in
The Eillon is a 33 m (110 ft) former drug boat sunk in Carlisle Bay Marine Park in June 1996, after years tied up in the Bridgetown careenage. Lying at an angle on the sand in about 16 m (52 ft), the hull is easy to enter and keeps an air pocket trapped in the bow.
Also known as The Eillon.

The dive
The hull rests at a jaunty angle on the sand inside the marine park, and divers can swim through it from one end to the other. Inside the bow, a pocket of trapped air at about 7.5 m (25 ft) is large enough to hold a conversation in, though divers keep breathing from the regulator.

Season follows Barbados: Boats run all year with no peak month; June to December is the wet season, and August to November hurricane swell can stop the diving.
Know before you go
- Entering the hull puts divers in an overhead environment, with no direct ascent to the surface.
