Tyler Rock
A canyon lined top to bottom with giant white plumose anemones
Tyler Rock is a classic Barkley Sound site in the far eastern corner of the Sound. Its centrepiece is a small underwater canyon lined from top to bottom with giant white plumose anemones, and it is one of the places in the Sound where a sixgill shark has been met.

The dive
Boats anchor on the rock, and the dive spans depths from the shallows to about 30 m (100 ft). The feature divers come for is the canyon: hundreds of pure white, giant plumose anemones line it from top to bottom, and divers fin through the middle of the mass. A prehistoric sixgill shark has been encountered here.
