Cepar Cepor
Bommie-hopping along a granite channel off Kepayang Island
Cepar Cepor is a channel between two granite islands, one of them Kepayang Island, where coral gardens curve around the shoreline. The dive drifts from bommie to bommie between 5 and 25 m, and with luck schooling fish cross the channel. Shelter from the islands and easy navigation make it a scenic drift rather than a demanding one.
Also known as Cepor Cepor, Cepor-cepor, Cepor Cepor Channel.

The dive
The site sits in a channel sheltered by two granite islands, and a moderate current carries divers along the shoreline. Coral gardens wrap around the island in bommies close enough together that it is easy to navigate from one to the next, between 5 m on the shallow side and 25 m at the deepest. Schooling fish turn up on lucky days, and the boulders between the coral heads are thick with longspine sea urchins.
