Mawun Slope
A soft coral garden at the foot of a reef slope
Mawun Slope is a reef slope off Mawun on the south coast of Lombok, dived from the Kuta shops. The slope starts at 8 m and leads to a soft coral garden at 25 m, which is the reason to dive it, and manta rays pass in the right season.

The dive
From 8 m the slope leads down into an amazing soft coral garden that continues to 25 m. Snappers, sweetlips, surgeonfish and humphead parrotfish live on the reef, and manta rays visit in the right season.
