Lavasina — listed by Corsica Sub under its own name, A Strega — is a spread of rocks, small caves and drop-offs in 15–25 m off the village of Lavasina, home to a resident grouper family, playful octopus, nudibranchs, a barracuda school and giant fan mussels. It is the corridor's easy-going reef dive.

The dive
The main rock group sits at 18–20 m — Corsica Sub, which lists the site as A Strega, gives 20 m as its maximum — while the Scubago listing spreads the site over 15 to 25 m of varied ground: rocks, small caves and drop-offs. Either way it is a mid-depth wander rather than a deep dive: move from rock to rock, checking the openings and overhangs as you go.
The wildlife list is long for an easy site: a family of grouper that likes to come and watch divers, playful octopus, nudibranchs for the macro eye, a school of barracuda and giant fan mussels. Corsica Sub asks only for French Level 1 or PE20. One caution on names: this reef shares the Lavasina name with the B26 bomber wreck at 63 m — an entirely different, far deeper dive — so make sure the briefing matches the dive you booked.
