Baía da Guia
Small passages through the reef top on the swim back to the sand
Baía da Guia, also called Guia Lighthouse, is a reef west of Cascais that runs southwest from the bay between 5 and 14 m. The dive starts on white sand, follows the reef out and returns over its top through small passages. Bream, rockfish, octopus and shrimp line the walls, with flounder on the sand.
Also known as Guia Bay, Guia Lighthouse.

The dive
The dive starts in an area of white sand and follows the reef to the right as it extends southwest of the bay. Schools of small bream, rockfish, octopus and shrimp appear on the walls, and cuttlefish appear ahead of the group.
On the way back the route hovers above the reef, entering the small passages that open in its top. Flounder lie on the sand, visible to divers who watch the bottom closely.
