Three towering coral pinnacles off Grand Cayman's East End, named Agatha, Bertha and Cleo. An open-topped canyon runs from near the mooring pin straight to the first of them, which keeps the navigation simple, and the third pinnacle leans noticeably at a depth of 70 ft (21 m).

The dive
Navigation is the easy part of this dive. From near the mooring pin an open-topped canyon provides a direct path to the first formation, so you drop, find the canyon and follow it rather than casting about across the reef. Being open-topped it is a corridor rather than a swim-through, which keeps it straightforward for divers who would rather not go under anything.
The three pinnacles are named Agatha, Bertha and Cleo, and they are worked in turn, with the third one notable for leaning at a depth of 70 ft (21 m). That is the deepest part of the dive, so the sensible order is to take the deep formation while there is time and gas for it, then come back along the chain and finish on the shallower ground near the pin before ascending.
