Four pinnacles at the foot of the coral slope

A wall dive 35 minutes from the dock, running from 50 to 100 ft (15 to 30 m). The dive starts on a shallow shelf, drops down a coral slope and finishes among four pinnacles at the foot of it, so the profile builds gradually rather than starting deep. The site is also known as Mo's Reef.

The dive
The shallow shelf at the top of the site is where the group forms up and the descent gets organised. From there the reef runs down as a coral slope, and following it takes you steadily deeper, so nobody is dropped straight onto working depth from the mooring. Sort out buoyancy and trim on the shelf while the water is shallow, because the slope makes it easy to keep going down without noticing.
The four pinnacles are the point of the dive, standing at the foot of the coral slope on a site that runs to 100 ft (30 m). Depth is the limit here rather than distance: with the deep half of the profile at the far end of the descent, you work the pinnacles first and then climb back up the coral slope to the shelf, where the shallow water and the safety stop are.
