The Troll Wall is a granite drop-off just off the Gulen house reef that rises from above the surface and plunges below recreational depths. Divers go for the scale of the rock face, its cover of anemones and the kelp in the shallows, all within swimming distance of the resort pier.
Also known as The Troll Wall.

The dive
The drop-off starts well above the surface and plummets to 45 m and deeper, and divers feel small beside the towering mass of granite. The face is covered in large pink anemones and little white starry ones. Shallower, the kelp holds lumpfish guarding their eggs and thousands of wrasse. Divers who keep the dive shallow can swim all the way back to the pier.
