Hin Ao Yai is the pinnacle in Ao Yai bay in the south-east of Koh Kood, a bay that also has a shore dive. It is a shallow site, about 8 meters deep, where turtles, barracuda and cobia turn up among fan corals.

The dive
The depth at Hin Ao Yai is about 8 meters, so the whole dive stays shallow around the pinnacle. Fan corals grow here, and turtles, barracuda and cobia are the larger animals seen on the dive.
