Ko Tae Nai
An artificial coral nursery beside a gentle island reef
Ko Tae Nai is an island 10 minutes south of Thongsala, the pier town where the Samui ferries land on Koh Phangan. Its dive is a gentle, shallow reef on the west side of the island, with an artificial coral nursery as a second point of interest.
Also known as Koh Tae Nai.
Where it is and how deep

The dive
Along the west side of the island the reef drops slowly to about 7 m, so the whole dive stays in shallow water. Divers follow this slope along the island, and the site also holds an artificial coral nursery. At times a bit of current runs over the reef.
