Koh Kong Yai, also called Rock Point, is a pinnacle on the east tip of Chaloklum Bay on Koh Phangan. It works as a miniature Sail Rock close to shore, with varied topography and plenty of fish, and it is a seasonal site because its visibility varies.

Also known as Ko Kong Yai, Rock Point, Kong Yai, Koh Kong.

The dive

The island has varying topography that reaches a maximum of 20 m. Divers work around small walls and through swim-throughs, with scenery and lots of fish around the rock. Visibility and current are unpredictable here, so conditions decide the dive.
