Turtles and stingrays over shallow hard coral
Soneva Reef is a hard-coral reef off Koh Kood, well south of Koh Chang. It is a shallow site that works for divers on their first trips and for experienced ones alike, and divers go for the turtles and stingrays that are regular sightings among the coral.

The dive
The reef bottoms out at 12 m, so the whole dive is spent over hard corals at an easy depth for beginners and advanced divers alike. Turtles, stingrays and scorpionfish turn up often along the reef.

Season follows Koh Chang & Koh Rang: Diving runs year-round; November to May brings calm seas and the clearest water, and the June to October monsoon brings wind, waves and lower visibility.
