Krugglö
A sound between two islets that works well in hard wind
Krugglö is a pair of islets near Strömstad split by a narrow sound. The dive drops into the sound and heads out over stone and then sand toward the mainland. It is not one of the area's best dives, but it works well in hard wind.
Also known as Krugglö, Strömstad.
Where it is and how deep

The dive
Divers descend inside the sound and swim out toward the mainland. The floor of the sound is a little stony, then gives way to sand, and the bottom settles at about 18-19 m. Dead man's fingers, wrasse, crabs and lobster are the usual sightings along the way.
Circling the island back to the sound's mouth on the fjord side is possible, but the water there turns shallow and the last stretch means crawling back over stones.
