Kuppen is a limestone headland east of Herrvik on Gotland's east coast, where stone slabs slope out into the sea. It is an easy shore entry for inexperienced or unsure divers, with simple dives down to 11 or 12 m. Out on the gently sloping sand bottom there are huge numbers of flatfish such as flounder and turbot.
Also known as Kuppen, Kuppen, Herrvik.

The dive
Divers walk out over the stone slabs and step in where the entry is easy, even for the inexperienced or unsure. From there the dive explores the ledge and then swims out over a gently sloping sand bottom. The sand holds great numbers of flatfish, flounder and turbot among them, and the dive stays within 11 to 12 m.
