Nordöskär
Sand giving way to a steep rock face, with a boulder field at its foot
Nordöskär is a skerry whose northwest side runs from a sand bottom into a steep rock face. At about 30 m the rock breaks into a boulder field before the bottom turns to sand again, and divers come for that rock-and-boulder profile.
Also known as Nordöskäret.

The dive
The dive starts on the sand of the skerry's northwest side and follows it until the bottom gives way to a steep rock face. Along the face the profile drops to about 30 m, where the rock breaks up into a field of boulders, and beyond the boulders the bottom turns back to sand. The site's deepest water lies past 40 m.
