A simple rock-and-sand interface in the bay's rocky ground, five metres at the top and about fifteen at the deepest. Big rocks sit on the sand with cracks between them and short tunnels where the stones have stacked one on another. Shore or boat, no depth pressure, and the interest is small life on the rock rather than anything passing in the blue.

The dive
The ground is a straightforward rock-to-sand interface: five metres at the top of the rock, about fourteen on the sand beside it and an approximate maximum of fifteen. Large rocks sit out on the bottom with cracks running between them and small tunnels where stones have stacked one on top of another, short swim-throughs rather than anything overhead. The dive is a slow lap of that rock and the sand channels between.
The interest here is close and small: anemones and tube anemones on the stone, fan mussels standing upright in the sand, mosaic rays out on the open bottom and nudibranchs where the shade holds on the rock. Depth never becomes the constraint, so the dive runs as long as the gas allows, and the same ground works from the shore or from a boat.
