The dive
The published profile sets the shape of the dive: an average depth of 20 m against a 40 m maximum, in current that typically runs at one to two knots, dived as a drift and planned around the tide. Wannadive rates the experience needed at CMAS two-star or Advanced Open Water and files the site as a liveaboard dive rather than a resort day trip.
Visibility is listed at 10 to 30 m. There is less published detail here than for Fushi Kandu or Maabaidhoo Kandu — no route description and no site-specific animal list — but the atoll's own copy groups the three together as the outer channels liveaboards come for, and the depth and current figures put it in the same class of dive.
