A shallow site of coral boulders on patches of fine white sand, mainly 12 m deep with little to no current — Scubago pitches it at beginners and at divers doing reactivation dives after time away. Deeper water is available off the boulders, but the site works as a calm, simple dive at one easy depth.

The dive
The site is as simple as Laamu diving gets: coral boulders standing on patches of fine white sand, mainly at 12 m, with little to no current across the spot. That combination — shallow, calm, easy navigation from boulder to boulder — is why Scubago recommends it for beginners and for reactivation dives after a break.
It is possible to get deeper than the 12 m base if you want to, but there is no pressure to: the dive is about slow time over the boulders rather than depth or distance. As one of the easy sites inside the atoll's rim, it is the natural first dive of a Laamu trip before the current-swept channels on the outer edge.

Season follows Laamu Atoll: Pattern is Maldives-wide: calm seas and the clearest water Jan–Apr; the southwest monsoon brings rain and rougher seas Jun–Nov. Mantas are recorded at Hithadhoo Corner in every month.
